I was invited by @ingoodcompanyleeds to create my own #postersforthepeople banner back about a month ago when it first launched as a way to promote positivity and uplifting messages to all the frontline workers for everything they’ve done over the last four months.

Having started on it so late, I wanted my contribution to be words of encouragement and reassurance, but one that would be applicable now as we ease out of lockdown. ‘YOU GOT THIS’ is to remind you (because it’s understandably so easy to loose sight of hope right now), that we can indeed find the strength to face any hurdles and fears we may face at a time of chaos and uncertainty.

The typelock was kept simple but bold - the hierarchy of the words intentionally stacked to grab attention and make YOU stop and to be reminded that you got this!

It’s been so much fun painting this piece and again, completely honoured to be involved in this incredible initiative. I’ve had this in the studio (unfinished) for so long that I’m actually delighted to see it done and hanging up. Mind you, I have to say I’m a bit reluctant to leave it out too long... 🙈

Anyhooo...there you have it! YOU GOT THIS folks! Things will get better. And as always, forever grateful to all our frontline workers, many of whom are on the brink of utter exhaustion. Hope these pieces of creativity brings a lot of positivity your way!
