CHOOSE LOVE CAMPAIGN MURAL

I’m so excited and honoured to share this project I worked on for humanitarian charity, Help Refugee’s CHOOSE LOVE campaign. They reached out to me after the @secret7s event asking if I’d be interested in getting involved in creating a graphic that would support the promotion of their first-of-a-kind shop. So obviously I went all out and painted a mini mural!

Using their slogan “LOVE WITHOUT BORDERS” I wanted this piece to be bold, engaging and oozing plenty of positive vibes. I wanted it it to encourage us all to think twice about supporting the many families fleeing their countries, in the riskiest of situations, simply to seek refuge in ours. I wanted it to remind us to replace any resentments and judgement with love, warmth and compassion. To remember to remove ourselves from our comfy privileged shoes and put ourselves into theirs, ask ourselves, how bad must it be to risk EVERYTHING to bring your family to safety?
